Since the event is ending Saturday, we wanted to open up monochromatosis infection to anyone who wants it (whose character fits the criteria) rather than waiting to get infected! The doc is over here, feel free to play with that!

We've seen some concerns OOC about what the future will hold, so we want to outline more clearly what will be happening post-event to hopefully assuage those:
• Tone stuff! The primary aim of the event is to shake up the IC atmosphere to allow more PvP, so that players who want an excuse for their characters to cause trouble and make waves have some logical validation to do so! It should also enable players to have their characters push more to bond with their units, while before, the atmosphere stymied a lot of the conflict and didn't really motivate in-unit bonding that much. This is not meant to punish characters who have been more cooperative off-unit - just to establish that it isn't the only reasonable attitude to take in the situation as a whole.

• That said, the game's core mechanics and structure will remain the same. Lives are still inherently cooperative, and there should still be room for wacky hijinx and downtime between shit going down!

• Games from this point on will have forced participation IC, so that people no longer have to suspend their disbelief to be able to play.

• Characters will not need to give up any of their possessions, regardless of unit aesthetic. While ICly characters will have some new rules on their phone to follow, the only rule regarding clothes is this:
"Wearing another unit's uniform in its entirety is not recommended. You may blend it with your own, though."
Adherence to unit image/aesthetic/demeanor will not be enforced IC after the event's conclusion. (BAD END will calm down when they are less full of demons, I promise.)

• We'll also be adding bonus points for showing off unit traits during games (still not required!). But before we do that, we want to hit up all the units about their traits and lives to make sure they're things they want to and enjoy playing, so don't worry too much if the current traits aren't stuff you're super hot on.

That is the gist of what's going on. If you have any more questions or need of clarification, you know where to find us!
