OOC event end & announcements!

Hello friends!!

As of today, the unit power/live/aesthetic swap event is over. There are some changes to the city, however . . .

• JR Kyushu Hotel Blossom Shinjuku has downsized, which is to say that all units now share a floor with another unit. This does not mean the units are merged, but that they're neighbors (unless they do have a connecting room, in which case they are merged).


• The following units are now merged together; these units are, for all game purposes, considered one unit, and idols can mix and match abilities provided they have only 6 total; they can also mix aesthetics, and OOCly they count as unitmates for AC purposes:
  
  • pep!pep! & future is now
    
  • WILD CITY & BARiTONES
  
  ICly, affected characters have received two armbands of their merged units' colors. Idols with these armbands can mix and match their clothing as they like, but they must wear the armbands or suffer the effects of sofaform.
  
  On that note: We're aware that means that single units don't get to play with as many abilities as merged units do, and this might be a downer OOCly! We've put it as a poll on Discord for the relevant players; please let us know if you'd like to similarly be able to mix and match abilities with another unit's.


• Flora and fauna continue to be magical in nature—there are rainbow dogs and three-headed birds, man-eating monster plants, etc; if it's a video game monster it's free game to be in imeeji. They also come with sometimes unpleasant surprises, aka status effects or injuries or etc. This is a list of things that can happen, though it's not an exhaustive list:
  
  • Harmless status effects (full of glitter now, flowers sprouting out of hair)
    
  • Harmful status effects (poisoned, hanahaki, forced obedience)
    
  • Frostbite, contact burns, etc. imagine the whopperflowers from genshin impact are here now
    
  • Injuries, as in straight up the animal or plant just attacks your idol
    
  • Death, to which someone with pep!pep! abilities must revive the character. Lilith is not taking housecalls!


• The Dead Zone continues to be broken up and having void bits. Please note: characters who fall into the void will be treated as permanently dead, or at least for the time being not revivable. Therefore, please only engage with the actual "falling through the void" part if you're going to be dropping the character for a while.
