Heart Game player sign-ups!

Heart Games: to put it briefly, it's entering the psyche of a character and exploring their mind (or, namely, their heart), with the goal of reaching their core, or the True Heart. Heart Games may range from light to dark and traumatic, so please take note of content warnings given when signing up!

This time, we're introducing a new kind of Heart:

Purification: Remove the Foreign Influence

• Also known in teamnesia as corruption hearts. A foreign substance has taken hold of a character's heart, and will start to slowly change the character from the inside out if allowed to stay. In order for the process to complete, the character will be forced into a deep slumber; it is at this time that other player characters can enter the character's heart and take the influence out before it can ruin everything forever.

Heart Games will run from January 22nd to January 30th.

Runners, please submit a toplevel with the following: your game schedule, running capacity, and any content warnings players may stumble into in the Heart! If you have not already added the Heart Game runner role to yourself on Discord, please go to #role-assignments and submit .iam heartgamerunners so that you can see the runner instructions.

Players, please comment to the toplevels. If the runner offers multiple timeslots, please note your preferred times.

You may both run a Heart and play in a Heart. There will be no scored runs, as there will be no points or scoring associated with this round of Heart Games.

Schedule
So like, timezones are bad. For most of Imeeji, this means I can only run either early ass o'clock in the morning or a more reasonable evening/night time for you all, generally on weekends. Fortunately, a public holiday is happening here during heart game week, so I can run 22nd-23rd, and 27th-30th. While the early morning slots mostly meant for our European players here, I'm not sure if those are good times so if they don't work, hit me up and we'll see what we can work out.

For evening slots, I can run up to an hour earlier if that works better for people.

Capacity
I am a baby who has never run anything before, so I am taking up to 5 per session, though I can squeeze in an extra person for one or two groups if needed. You don't need prior or close CR to run around in his heart!

Also if things shake out that way, I can do solo or very small group runs. Timezones bad.

Content
This heart is likely to be NPC-interaction heavy and fairly text heavy! I'm still working out if there will be combat or the possibility of death in this heart, so to be safe I will tentatively warn that there is a non-zero, if rather unlikely, chance of your character dying.

The following content warnings apply: themes of violence and death, gore, decapitation, mutilation, immolation, bullying, torture, loss of agency, feelings of alienation, in general just a lot of bad shit involving children. Possibly more pending as I finish writing! He's seen and been through some shit and you may get to relive his experiences, even if actual harm doesn't necessarily befall you. If there's anything that squicks you out let me know, so I can either come up with a workaround or at least keep it vague, depending on your comfort level.

Now that I have a decent amount of prewriting done, combat is unlikely unless y'all like, go out of the way to try and pick fights with NPCs I guess. There is still a non-zero chance your character might die, though it's pretty unlikely.

In general, physical harm won't necessarily befall your characters, but they may end up reliving his experiences, and he has many bad ones to relive.
