Heart Games: to put it briefly, it's entering the psyche of a character and exploring their mind (or, namely, their heart), with the goal of reaching their core, or the True Heart. Heart Games may range from light to dark and traumatic, so please take note of content warnings given when signing up!

This time, we're introducing a new kind of Heart:

Purification: Remove the Foreign Influence

• Also known in teamnesia as corruption hearts. A foreign substance has taken hold of a character's heart, and will start to slowly change the character from the inside out if allowed to stay. In order for the process to complete, the character will be forced into a deep slumber; it is at this time that other player characters can enter the character's heart and take the influence out before it can ruin everything forever.

Heart Games will run from January 22nd to January 30th.

Runners, please submit a toplevel with the following: your game schedule, running capacity, and any content warnings players may stumble into in the Heart! If you have not already added the Heart Game runner role to yourself on Discord, please go to #role-assignments and submit .iam heartgamerunners so that you can see the runner instructions.

You may both run a Heart and play in a Heart. There will be no scored runs, as there will be no points or scoring associated with this round of Heart Games.

hello I finally found the fear list I did I'm so sorry. These are not in any particular order

Fears
- failure: specifically, disappointing people that are important to her (close friends and family, or specifically types like lucifel/ruby/little red or the god that she worships in canon, who she believes herself to have been engaged to) and losing their respect/admiration/love

- adjacent to the above, the idea of not living up to her own expectations: not being kind enough, not being helpful enough, doing harm to others in any way

- adjacent to that, the idea that she could do something harmful and not be repulsed by it - this goes for being unmoved by it and enjoying it equally. they're both bad.

- the above couple of points can be summarized as a fear of having failed to change from the person that she perceives herself as having been before: 1. completely detached from humanity, just using them as she likes without any regard for their struggles or feelings (like they're bugs is a simile that's come up before if that is helpful) / 2. a monster that ruins everything just by existing and continuing to live

- in keeping with that, losing her identity (which can be an incident like the above or otherwise just not being able to keep identity markers that she considers important - her family ties to little red or ruby, her marriage with lucifel, her status as a member of ZRAEL or as a witch)

- failing to protect people that are the most important to her

- in general, those people being harmed or otherwise dying but especially if she's the one responsible

- being restrained, especially for long periods of time

- being alone, especially for long periods of time

- drowning

- losing control of herself; this is particularly about an unsolicited theft of bodily control and being overwhelmed to the point that she can no longer control her thoughts. unless you're god. if it's god it's ok. any weird agency fuckery is ok as long as you frame it with g

- having negative emotions forced onto her

Desires

- Living up to her potential as a witch as she sees it - being able to be kind and love everyone equally while her mother and sister are proud of her and she has fully bucked the expectations that were placed on her when she was born (see above). Largely amounts to "living up to her own expectations"

- Getting to live a happy and quiet life with just her partners and mother and siblings and they are safe and content and nothing bad ever happens again. Unconditional love, peace, safety (more for other people than her)
