Merikuri announcements!!!

• Part 1 of Hunger Games (HG1-A) will be running on Saturday, December 29th at 4 PM PST. It will be an interview/survey so nothing too intensive, and run for about two hours, though coming late/leaving early will be fine! It will affect unit starting positions and a few other things for Part 2.

• Part 2 of Hunger Games (HG1-B) will be running from Monday, December 31st to Saturday, January 8th. Like Betrayal, it will be happening out of main timeline. We're still sorting out what timeslots we'll available to run, so the sign-ups for that will be up in a day or two.

• This is just a reminder that Heart Games (HG2) will be in February! We'll have signups going up in January for you guys, so look forward to it!

• As of January's app round, we will be opening audition apps. Essentially, if you're not interested in playing out an amnesia arc, but you are interested in a shiny new zany murder idol, you'll want to check this out! ♥ Audition apps are only open to players who have already had another character in Imeeji.

• We are also opening apps up for Game Running NPCs. Game runners should submit full game proposal or like, show us their portfolio of games run, and we can give them the information necessary so they can make an NPC. As part of this, we also now have a page up with the rules for running a game in Imeeji! If you would like to run a game, you do not need to have a Game Running NPC but instead must get your games approved individually.

• BAD END=DEAD END is getting a powerset change, with Machai Provocation and Eris Alert receiving an overhaul. They now read:

Eris Alert: Ability to sense another's emotions. An active skill. When you use it, indicate so in bracket text, so the other player can fill you in on what their character is feeling.

Machai Provocation: Amplify any emotion the target is currently feeling, positive or negative. If not used in conjunction with Eris Alert, and they attempt to amplify an emotion the target is not feeling, it does not work.

• The setting #poll is now up! It closes on Wednesday!

question about audition apps

Can any type of character become one of the damned? How does that work for characters that aren't necessarily mortal? What about characters that are divine themselves? This is a really intriguing character type/arc to me, but I want to make sure that if I consider it, I'm considering it for characters who fit in the setting rules for damnation.

To give some specific examples: I have two characters who are non-humans given human form (one a sword, the other a snake; the snake is "canonically," insofar as OCs have canons, a daughter of the eden serpent). Can these sort of nonhuman creatures go to the afterlife?

Yes, just assume that the imeeji cosmology "supercedes" their canon's world; that this is a sort of greater multi-verse hell that's been absorbing worlds.

QUESTION will the general rules/more details re: hunger games be available with sign ups? It's gonna be getting Busy at work soon and I selfishly wanna know ahead of time if it'll be worth it to sign up depending on how the game will function/other little details. Ty!!

Thirding, would be nice to have a general description of what this even is, much less what it entails before throwing charas into something heavy(?) so soon. Even if not all the rules, could we get an elevator pitch?

How important is it to be there for the kickoff of HG P2? I'm not going to be available for anything particularly energy intensive (or anything at all, depending) on the 31st, but will be after that.

Question regarding NPC game runners! Can they be canon characters, or do they need to be original characters?

OCs. Canon characters may be available after graduations, but to start we don't want to confuse the issue of doubles amongst a few other concerns.
