• Also!! Very important!! As mods are variously getting our shit together and life is starting to possibly calm down, we're realizing we don't have a great handle on the OOC vibe of the game or the IC state of it—so we're asking you, the playerbase, how it's going!
  
  These Wellness Check emails have been sent to every player in the game, and are part of March Activity Check. You won't get idled for not responding on time, but we will harass you post-AC period if you haven't responded. This is so we can have 100% participation and 100% know what's going on!


• As usual, Fanmail is also due on Saturday at 10PM PST!


• Asidian and Erin will be running a Chuck Tingle game on Sunday March 27th at 1pm! This game will run on wotanon and have comedic nsfw themes, pitting your unit's silly Chuck Tingle title + book cover + synopsis against those of the other units in a desperate bid to get published (read: get votes from the other units). Signups are here!


• Mora will be running a game between April 6th and April 10th! There are multiple days so there can be multiple separate runs, which will each run about 3-4 hours. The game is about forging cool weapons and other objects using the power of friendship and also maybe violence in order to avoid moderate emotional and physical trauma. Sign-ups and additional info pending!

hey this is carly. remember when i ran emotionshare three-legged race in may/june 2020? probably not because time is an illusion and the early pandemic is a haze.

anyway i'm running it as a bingo from april 18 to april 21. i might play the length by ear based on whether people fade fast or not but you'll have 24 hours notice. anyway the deal is that you will be emotionbonded to the person you choose to complete bingo squares with some bonus effects for people who want to make their characters participate without them wanting to participate.

it'll be a little bring your own trauma but 100% based on your comfort levels. complete rules will be posted closer to the date.

announcements part 2: unit support!

HELLO this is a part 2 to the announcements! It's a very special announcement. earthshattering. biggening.

Starting today, we are opening up a Unit Support position!

What is that, you ask? Basically, this position exists to help fill out units that are on the slower and/or smaller side. Players who have this position are allowed to app thirds, provided at least one of their three characters are on one of these units.

With consideration to player comfort, we're also holding the following requirement: support members must have been in the game for at least a year, and have received zero notices of player conduct, whether on Discord or through email.

Here are the full terms, in bullet point form for readability:

Unit Support Privileges

• May have three (3) characters in the game total
  
• May app outside of the app period

Unit Support Requirements

• The player must have been in the game for at least one year, with zero Notices of Player Conduct emails or extensive mod intervention on Discord.
  
  • This position is intended to be toward the function of shoring up units, and players in the support group should expect to be placed with that in mind, rather than at their individual convenience, and therefore they'll be held to a higher standard of not having active conflicts.
    
    It should be noted that, in grey area situations, mods will be going with our best judgment.
  
  
• The player must have three months of full AC for both characters when their third character is being considered for placement.

Disclaimers & Things to Consider

• Units with five (5) members or fewer are considered fair game for support members.
  
• Support members do not have to have their support character as their third slot. For example: if a player was already on a smaller unit with one or more characters, they are not required to app a third to a smaller unit.
  
• We expect support members to prioritize the character with the smaller unit if made to face the choice, like in a game where only one character per person is allowed. We do not expect 100% of decisions made to be only for the character with the smaller unit, but we expect support members to have the mindset of prioritizing playing with their smaller units.
  
• Please note that while a support member can still have anti-requests, mods will prioritize need and compatibility over personal hopes and dreams for placement. We strongly recommend players tailor their character choices with this in mind.
  
• Should a support member receive a disciplinary notice at any time, their privileges will be revoked and the relevant problem character will be dropped.
