This is Carly and Degen, posting with a journal that's a surprise tool to help us later, announcing the return of… FLOWERSGAME!

On Sunday, August 7th at 12:00pm PST we will be running Flowers of Heaven II: Star of Bethlehem, which is both a rerun of and direct sequel to the original Flowers of Heaven!

Flowers of Heaven is a war room-style trauma game with a twist: rather than targeting other units with physical trauma, characters will have to vote to destroy parts of each other’s ~essential selves~ in order to progress, resulting in status effects or even temporary full amnesia.

There will also be an optional mini-exploradora beforehand with things to touch! Exciting secrets! Maybe even find out what we mean by calling this a "sequel"...
If you want to fuck around and find out, we plan for the exploradora portion to be available starting two hours beforehand, so 10:00am PST.
Being available to play in the game is not required for participation in the exploradora portion, and vice-versa! However, it helps us a lot to know if you plan to come.

Hello everyone! From Friday June 29th at 8:00 AM PST to Monday August 1st at 11:59 AM PST, I will be running Doki💖Doki! Luna's Heartful Relationship Building Adventure!, a mingle game about love of all kinds!

Here is how the game will basically go (these are not the rules as they'll be written on the game post but they are the gist of how it will work):

EVERYONE HAS A BRACELET WITH A HEART METER

EVERYONE HAS A LIST OF GIFTS FOR THEIR CHARACTER THEY MAKE THEMSELVES + 1-3 STATS THEIR CHARACTER APPRECIATES WHICH ARE NEEDED FOR CAPTURES. EACH CHARACTER MUST BE "CAPTURABLE" AT STATS THAT ADD UP TO 30 POINTS.

Stats are:

Athleticism: Ability to do big physical feats as well as general physical fitness.
Grace: Ability to conduct oneself well in front of others and look really good doing it. Also looking really good even if you're being a shithead and ruining everything. This can also be charisma or cuteness but the point is that people like you even if you're being a shithead and ruining everything.
Intuition: Ability to have a big brain and understand things.
Faith: Ability to believe the best in things, including people. Required for OPEN AND HONEST COMMUNICATION.


Gift list goes as follows:

LOVES: (you may have up to two things here)
LIKES: (you may have up to four things here)
NEUTRAL: (you may have up to four things here)
DISLIKES: (you may have up to four things here)

  • It's a stamp rally with a few twists! Idols will be going around eight locations in the city to get their card stamped, for nine stamps total (the first stamp is at the Game Tower and is a freebie!):
    • Dorms: JR Kyushu Hotel Shinjuku Blossom
    • Amusement Park: Yomiuri Land
    • Dungeon Crawler: REAL ESCAPE ROOM
    • Hot Springs: Oedo-Onsen Monogatari
    • Olive Garden: Olive Garden
    • Shopping Center: Aqua City Odaiba

    • Department Store: OIOI (Marui)

  • Every location has a punch card machine that will stamp their card after they've performed any one of the following scenarios with a partner (and you can roll a 1d8 if you guys don't know which you want to do):
    1. Super secret spy adventure
    2. Dramatic confrontation/confession
    3. Lovey-dovey date/BFF Adventure!
    4. Fight!/DUEL!
    5. Imprisonment/Breaking out!!
    6. Family outing
    7. Alien landing/exploring the location as though you were an alien and don't know human things
    8. Sharing something (feelings, memories, food, clothes, etc)

  • You can fill multiple stamp cards, but you can only do one stamp card per person, i.e. you can get 3 dungeon crawler stamps but they must be done with different people and are effectively considered different cards entirely.

  • But there's a twist! Upon getting a stamp, you might experience any of the following changes (and you can roll a 1d8 if you want, or just choose whichever you would rather play with!):
    1. Physical age up (not mental)
    2. Physical age down (not mental)
    3. Mental age up (not physical)
    4. Mental age down (not physical)
    5. Physical + Mental age up
    6. Physical + Mental age down
    7. Return to normal
    8. Stay the same

  • Wait a minute, most people are amnesiacs! How would mental age ups and age downs work, anyway? Here are the number of ways you can play it:
    For aging down, you can play it as such:
    • They don't have any memories whatsoever, but they understand that Tokyo-F is their home city and this is a fun and ultimately safe game to play. Their phone is very important and they shouldn't lose it.
    • Alternatively or as an addendum to #1, they may think that they have always lived in Tokyo-F and that they grew up in this city. Born and raised? Well, at least it's all they've ever known.
    • Alternatively or as an addendum to #1, they may think that they have just recently moved in from whatever their old circumstances were (with old circumstances being resolved neutral-positive somehow if necessary), if they have all their memories.
    • They're here and they're not supposed to be, but they understand that if they do really well in this game then they can go back home, and this is something they can trust as fact. Their phone is very important and they shouldn't lose it.

    For aging up, you can play it as such:
    • They, for all intents and purposes, have grown up in Tokyo-F. It's been X years and they've fully adapted to Tokyo-F; their presence in this game is a result of being ~sent back in time~ for ~game shenanigans~ and their current game is an exact replica of this game, except the twist is that they get sent back in time instead of being de-aged or aged up. You can corroborate with other players to ~create a XYL Imeeji AU~ or you can do whatever you want, go hog wild! It is understood in this AU that no further plot happened, and Tokyo-F has been status quo for X years.
    • They're a Heaven graduate who went to [whichever world your character currently would want to go back to as a Heaven graduate]. They received a text asking if they wanted to play in a completely and totally 10000% safe game where they could see their Imeeji-loved ones again, so they're here with consent to babysit. They are vaguely aware Imeeji is still running from their point of time.
    • They're a Hell graduate who work in [vague unspecified Hell, NDA on the details but maybe they're a hitman or a bartender in a hyperviolent murderscape]. They received a text asking if they wanted to play in a completely and totally 10000% safe game where they could see their Imeeji-loved ones again, so they're here with consent to babysit. They are aware Imeeji is still running from their point of time and may even have been hosts before.

  • Aged up characters are under oath to not spoil anything from canon! You can make up the AU as you like, but canon spoilers or otherwise things that weren't remembered by the character already are under a non-disclosure agreement for ~spoiler~ reasons.

  • De-ages can have corruptions temporarily removed; age ups can have temporary corruptions.

  • For the purposes of making this game easier on sensitIVs and pep!pep!s who may be playing children, healing stations have been set up all around the city in the form of purikura/photobooth stations that have signs with "Boo-Boo Stations" written in big bubbly letters. An injured, dying, or dead character can enter the healing station and come out 95% fixed, with maybe a bandaid on the injury as well as a piece of candy. You can still play out sensitIVs and pep!pep!s healing and reviving people if the aforementioned parties are excited for and have agreed to play it out, but otherwise, no stress! This is IC available in the rules for characters to either know or not know (due to not reading that part of the rules) as convenient.

  • Additionally, you'll notice that the Live button on your phone can function as an emergency distress signal if you get stuck! Press the button and fellow idols, big and small, can come help you! (This does not get you any points though—they have to be actual Lives for there to be any points!)

  • Winners are determined by the following:
    • Highest number of completed stamp cards (individual)
    • Highest average of completed stamp cards (unit)
    • Highest number of stamps overall (individual)
    • Highest number of stamps on average (unit)
    • Audience choice (individual)
    • Audience choice (unit)

HI HI HERE ARE THE RULES FOR THE GAME STARTING THURSDAY AS PROMISED, also signups are here for people who missed them on Discord!


The game has two rounds, each of which is two and a half hours long. For the duration of the game, unitmates experience each other's emotions through an empathy bond.

    For the first round, each unit is given a story that has blanks to fill in - filling in the blanks will forge a type of item specified by the unit. These blanks ask for an (emotion) and/or an (memory/experience).

    To fill in the blanks, idols must share the memory or emotion they think is relevant to the story being told. Memories and experiences can be from any place or time, partial or complete, so long as the character is the one who has experienced it.



    For the second round, each unit receives a story, but this one will not have blanks to fill in - instead it will have bolded (emotions) and (memories/experiences) which must be countered with the unit's own.

    This round will play out otherwise the same way as the first, but at the end of the second round if the item made to defend against the presented story is not a perfect counter, the unit will sustain either physical or mental injury based on the presented story.

    The choice of injury type is up to the player, and a set of options for each will be given at the game's conclusion.


1-3 winners (depending on the size of the session) will be determined by who made the best items, and the rest of the winners will be decided by host's choice.

hey this is carly. remember when i ran emotionshare three-legged race in may/june 2020? probably not because time is an illusion and the early pandemic is a haze.

Game Overview


  • This will be a sharing game! Of feelings, truths, and memories!
  • New memories are allowed to be shared and will be "freely" given, so please prepare memories if you want to share!!
  • You can also share memories that were already bought! You can also share memories that happened in imeeji, though if they're like super CR-shattering please check OOCly with players first just for comfort's sake.
  • Please note: this is a Bring Your Own Trauma game! That is to say, people may end up traumatized, but only because of whatever everyone else on their unit is bringing to the table.

HELLO FRIENDS. HERE ARE THE FULL RULES FOR THE LAST SUPPER.

Please note the content warnings in advance: there is vore/cannibalism, monster transformation, and possible mental/emotional influence (betrayal traitor* style).

(*Betrayal Traitor: the character will receive a memory, believing this memory to be their own for the duration of the game.)



Premise


The Last Supper is a round-based fighting tournament with a twist: everyone is capable of turning into a cannibalistic monster (optional), and everyone is plagued with an insatiable hunger (not optional). There is no food available to anyone during the game: the only food available to idols are each other.

Every round, all participating idols are locked in their own unit rooms. Here, units take one hour to decide their hunting targets from a list of every participant of the game. Once the hour is up, designated idols will go on their hunting spree.

Should multiple parties pick the same target, they will all be made to fight each other for that target in a mini-tourney (e.g. all hunters are paired off until one hunter remains).

While fights resolve, all idols are released into an auditorium, where they await their hunters.

A hunter may not choose whether to kill, but they may choose whether to eat. However, should they choose to forego eating, they will allow their unit to starve for that round, testing the collective unit's sanity and making the next round more dire.

Gameplay


  • 3 rounds total.
  • 1 hour decision making period per day, then mingle time in-between each round. (Friday will have a 2 hour discussion for people to adjust to the game and rules.)
  • During the 1 hour decision making period, units will choose their targets.
  • If someone is chosen as a victim multiple times, the hunters will be paired off to determine who gets to kill the victim.

Positions


The Heart is OOCly determined, but the Mouths are ICly determined every day (e.g. someone who was a Mouth on Friday doesn't have to be a Mouth on Saturday).
  • Heart - 1 idol per unit max
    • The "heart" of the unit. Should this idol die, the whole unit will go berserk.

  • Mouth - 2 idols per unit minimum
    • The hunters of the unit. These idols hunt on behalf of the unit and satiate the unit's hunger.
    • If there are not enough Mouths to hunt twice, the unit's sole Mouth may hunt twice in one round.

  • Hand - Unlimited
    • The attendants to the heart, or otherwise, the heart's sacrificial decoys. Losing a hand isn't the end of the world.


Hunger Meter


  • Every unit has a hunger meter. This hunger is shared: if one unit member eats, then the rest of the unit will feel their hunger alleviated.
  • At the beginning of each round, each unit gains 1-2 points of hunger.
  • When a unit caps out at 3 points of hunger, the whole unit will go berserk.


Food Points


  • Heart = 3 points of food
  • Hand = 1 point of food
  • Mouth = 0 points of food—Mouths do not satisfy hunger whatsoever.


Fight Resolution


All fights resolve in the following manner:
  • Mouth vs Hand: The Mouth wins every time.
  • Mouth vs Heart: The Mouth wins every time. Additionally, the whole unit goes berserk.
  • Everything Else: Both idols roll 1d6; highest determines the winner. (Or: discuss with your partner and decide what is Coolest™ and Most Enjoyable™.)
    • Ties result in both parties being injured, but returning to their units alive.
    • If it's a group fight, please talk amongst each other about what is the Coolest™ and Most Enjoyable™.


Berserk


  • Idols can go berserk a number of ways:
    • The Heart is eaten
    • The unit reaches max hunger
    • [REDACTED GAME SPOILERS]

  • When an idol goes berserk, the following occurs:

Powers, Healing, & Death


  • All items are kept, except for consumable food items.
  • All idols have their abilities until they enter the hunting grounds.
  • All idols are additionally capable of turning into monsters, gaining their monster's capabilities (e.g. a dragon can breathe fire and fly).
  • Healing is slowed when the unit's hunger meter is at 2+. Should an idol receive a life-threatening injury, they cannot heal fast enough to survive unless their hunger meter is at 1 or less. This is including sensitIV healing.
  • Healing is accelerated when the unit's hunger meter is at 0. Should an idol receive treatment for a life-threatening injury, it's reasonably certain the idol will survive.
  • When an idol dies, [REDACTED GAME SPOILERS].


Win Criteria & Post-Game


  • Winners are determined by highest # of successful kills and lowest hunger meters.
  • Winners will receive full, scarless healing.
  • Losers will receive minimal revivals, and be afflicted with insatiable hunger of some kind (literal, can't get full no matter what; cannibalistic, needs human flesh; metaphorical, needs some sort of substance; psychological, desires vengeance; etc). Additionally, mental effects will persist for some time after the game (1-3 IC days, or: however long you want to play with it for).

Hello, it's Degen, and this coming Saturday, January 22nd, Hadassah will be running a Hot Potato-style game themed around Setsubun: all the status effects are based on monsters! (Is this foreshadowing....?)

The game will be structured almost identically to the original Hot Potato, except broken into three rounds to let everyone make sense of the chaos (and also enjoy those status effects a bit. as a treat.).

CONTENT WARNINGS: Setsubun Beans a.k.a. Hi, everyone! Sanctuary is slated to run on November 26 and 27. To that end, here's a little bit more information to help you get read for the game.

Sanctuary is a mingle game designed to help characters face that worst villain of all – meaningful interpersonal communication.

During the game, you'll create a top level with whatever you like: an introduction of your character's space, a memory, an opening for conversation, etc., and warn for content as necessary. Others tag in to enter that space and interact with what they find there, though to a limited extent – for example, they can watch or even experience a memory (OOC choice), but cannot change the outcome; they can speak with the owner of that space (top level) but cannot change what the space looks or feels like. Basically you can only godmod your own soul room, sorry.

While in Sanctuary, you may share one or more memories to any set or subset of characters you like. It must be something you have already regained or experienced while in Imeeji, and it can be memories from Imeeji, if you so choose. However, something about the memory should inspire bad, mixed, or bittersweet feelings at best. It is not consciously ICly chosen, but may be something the character has often found weighing on their mind.

Characters are not forced to talk about anything, much less engage in any deep soul searching, but while in Sanctuary they may find it easier to do so, in whatever way works for them personally. (Maybe they just feel really chill! Maybe they have all the booze a Taisho could want! Maybe they don't know why they started talking about Things That Matter but once they start it feels nice so they don't immediately regret it! Do what you have to do to be able to enjoy the game.)

Things to think about to get ready for the game:

-The space around your character will physically change to reflect their mental state. If your character is angry, the floor might literally become lava; if your character is sad, the light may fade away to nothing and leave you in an endless black. None of these effects can physically harm another person, but as far as emotional metaphors go, anything is possible. What will this look like for your character?

-This is a memshare game. If you plan to share any memories, make sure you have them written up or have the threads readily available for sharing.

HELLO, IT'S MARIE, and I'll be running a traumatic variation/interpretation of Oregon Trail—Oregod Trail.

The differences? Well, likely many. For one, it'll be run by God! And instead of traversing through Oregon, units will be enduring the FREEZING COLD TUNDRA and a good number may not be escaping unscathed! Your choices along the way may affect how well you and your unitmates survive; you may even need to take upon great risks to survive, or ensure unitmates survive. It's time to test your bonds~!

CONTENT WARNINGS: Being as freezing temperatures will contribute to many factors in the game, I'd suggest all-out skipping if you're uncomfortable with playing out complications of that nature, such as hypothermia and frostbite. In addition, amputation will very likely crop up, so bear that in mind, too. Otherwise, I will keep note of everyone's DO NOT lists to be as creatively gross within reason as possible, so definitely make sure you are keeping that information up to date. ♥

HELLO!

Cobalt will be back November 19-21 to run DRUNK CARDS! This is a light, silly, and trauma-free game for making CR. Players will take turns drawing cards, and each card will have a truth-or-dare style challenge for the table to determine who will take drinks. Despite the name of the game, drinks can be anything you like, from alcohol to coffee, so actually getting drunk is player choice. Cobalt hopes everyone will be able to relax and enjoy themselves. This might be a thinly veiled excuse to have snacks with friends shh don't tell the production.

There will be three sessions, one per day between Friday and Sunday. Each session will be 4 hours.

Monsters!! This time around there are 9 things your character can change into, and as added incentive, certain monsters get a TRAIT BOOST. IE an emotion/trait is hella amplified if you swap to that monster. Monster list is currently:

I HEAR YOU. So this year you can fill squares with literally anyone, I don't care. Hit up a different person for each square? Go for it. Do an entire black out with one person? More power to you. This is a chill game, just be aware the squares must be completed in a public space to count (ie anywhere with a camera, not in your personal dorms!)

If your character is ALREADY some kind of monster feel free to turn them human or into something else!!

What can we do as monsters???
You get all/whatever cliches you want of said monsters without any drawback--the sky will even be perpetually dusk so you can walk outside fine in the sun if you so desire. Mermaids can also make bubbles and Harpies can create small gusts of wind, Seraphims can like...idk, make glowing lights. Stuff like that!!

BUT WHAT ABOUT...BAD STUFF
I TRUST YALL TO GET PLAYER PERMISSION FOR MORE VIOLENT THINGS. Keep it chill!! That said if anyone starts anything TOO serious and needs intervention ping me and my demon sheep host will appear to give a time out.

I WANT TO CHANGE MONSTERS
You can change monsters every time you complete a row if you want!! So if you start out as a Were but wanna become a vampire, just do 5 prompts and then you can say a new card was rng'd for your character if they willingly wouldn't change it.

Here are the rules for Hunger Games in advance, so people can check them out! You can sign up here!

  • Players will have their respective stats and ability mechanics available to them at the start of the game.
  • Characters will have their unit abilities available to them if they purchased them already. However, they do not have items.

  • Idols will be dropped off on a map with 12 zones. Each zone contains:
    • A buff for their respective units.
    • A breakable statue. If it is broken, the zone will be destroyed and made unplayable; those who destroyed the zone will be sent to a new zone.
    • An entrance to the underground sewer system, which connects to all other zones.

  • Each session will either be 2 days long, with 3 hours of gamerunner time each, or 1 day long, with 3 hours of gamerunner time.
  • Characters are aware at game start that the goal is to either kill their fellow players or break as many zones as they can.
  • Characters are also aware that if there isn't enough action (killing), the map will start killing idols. This will happen on the second day for 2-day runs and at the 2-hour mark for 1 day runs.
  • Characters are aware that they will be revived up to two times by the game, at the end of their sessions. Beyond that, they will not be revived until game end. (Subject to change; additional revives may be given as the game progresses.)

  • Killing Rules:
    • Killing off-unit adds 1 point toward a unit's score. Bonus point if it's the 3rd death for the victim.
    • Killing unitmates subtracts 1 point from a unit's score.
    • Destroying a zone adds 1 point toward a unit's score.
    • Any attempts at suicide will leave the characters at 1HP. Characters cannot inflict the fatal blow on themselves, no matter how hard they try.

  • Win criteria:
    • Highest kill count
    • Best kills (emotional, vicious, fanservice)
    • Highest number of zones broken
    • Lowest revive use

  • Healing & Revivals:
    • Top-ranking units will be revived and fully healed. (Up to 5 units.)
    • Middle-ranking units will be revived, but not healed. (Up to 4 units.)
    • Lowest-ranking unit will not be revived or healed. (Minimum 3 units.)
