Prompt 1: Amnesia

[ You woke up, all your memories having vacated you. Well, that sucks. But hey, no time like the present to go out and figure out things. Maybe someone in your smartphone contacts knows you or what's going on. You open up your smartphone's lock screen and-- hey, that looks relevant. Profile pages! It has your unit name, member names, but no pictures. . .

Well, the rest varies. This one says Likes: Industrial Strength cleaning products, Breakbeat hardcore, Volleyball shorts and Dislikes: Roombas, Electro-industrial, Maid Outfits. The next has a thrilling tale that concludes with the idol mud-wrestling God, though it doesn't mention if they won or not. The third says that the member became an idol because they want to use the television and media attention to get the notice of their long lost sister, and reunite their family. The fourth just has someone's three sizes. The fifth has a detailed astrological profile.

Since no one remembers their names and there's no pictures to match it to, this is actually less helpful than you hoped. And furthermore, the doors aren't opening until you and the rest of the amnesiacs on this unit tell it who is who. Looks like you and the rest of these people have to discuss which of you is more likely to have mud-wrestled god, and who joined because they really want to find their long-lost sister. Or you can just use the tape-measure that was left sitting on the main table of the center room, that might be a quick way to settle at least one of these things. ]

Prompt 2: Memory Regain

[ You saved up your points, performing in Games or Lives or Vids, something or other until you had enough points to put the order in.

You didn't really know how to expect a memory to look like, but as it turns out there's just an alert on your app. Once you click it, a playback starts-- on the screen, and in your mind. You remember something now.

However, in buying the cheap version, that just broadcasted to several other people's phones in the area as well as all screens in the area. Cool. That was definitely what you were trying to do. ]

Prompt 3: Game Time

[ Welcome to the Game Tower. Today's game is a sort of mad fake phantom thief free-for-all. You arrived, were given top hats and cloaks, and the inside floor of the tower had been remodeled to resemble an art museum, with a giant roulette wheel right by the elevator you exited. Below that was a little slot, where today's hologram host explained the wheel would spit out a slip with a goal just for you.

So you have a little slip of paper with a goal on it, and no way of knowing what anyone else's goals are, though you did see the big roulette wheel being spun at the beginning letting you know the some of the possibilities:

♚Steal the giant statue from the center of the museum

Prompts 4: Fanmail

[ Today, trying to take the elevators up from the lobby to access the apartments you and the other units live in just isn't working. Upon the doors being pried open, you found out why quickly: the elevator shaft was jammed up with fan mail, so it couldn't properly descend. Letters cascades out from between the open doors: letters from people who watch you play games, do lives, make vids, and probably all sorts of other things on those omnipresent cameras.

Are you really going to read these? Though right at your feet, a few have spilled from their envelopes. Now you can't help but read those. Here's one in purple glitter pen that says, jesus just come into my home and strangle me with your hair and one that is written with newspaper cut out letters (alarmingly reminiscent of a calling card written by a serial killer) that reads incongruently hello my soft best child ur good and valid and I love you forever plz be ok don't listen 2 the haterz u have done nothing wrong. Oh, and here's one asking if you can wear tighter pants for your next live, they want a better shot of your ass for their shrine. This one just says MARRIED?

Well, it's just as well you have no idea who those were for. Most this fanmail isn't for you. Except for the few that you just read, they're all labeled in envelopes for different people from all the units. Time to read other people's fanmail. Or try and find them and deliver the fanmail. Or just start a big fire in the middle of the lobby, you could do that too. ]

You ought to at least consider it, you know. The both of us are from the same unit back home. While I am also struggling to regain my memories, I am certainly your ally.

[ But hmm. ]

Leo-san is the one with the orange hair whom I refer to as King. He is the Leader of our unit back home. Izumi-san is who you are referring to with the silvery gray hair. And the blonde... I believe they are... Naru-san?

[ It's what Leo named the cat and 'Naru' is the only name left... ]

The five of us are an idol group back home. A proper one. Not this... reality television that the producers force us to compete within.

[ Waving his hands to show what he thinks about that. ]

Both Leo-san and Izumi-san are here too, though they are both on different units than myself, much to our utter misfortune.

Are you going to boss me around?

[He didn't really want that...this was a little overload of information too. How many people knew him here? It was odd but also reassuring in a way. They all couldn't be lying to him...right?]

That would line up with that memory? We were in this really pretty building with a huge staircase and giant stain glass windows.

I-I didn't say I was lonely! I'm almost an adult you know. Of course I couldn't roll upon the ground proclaiming to be lonely even if it can feel that way sometimes, just a little bit.

I have no memory of the set you are describing? Though I have no doubt that you experienced it for yourself and we must have been there.

This place really is reality TV, however. How much has your unit explained? The individuals responsible for kidnapping us also force us into all kinds of unpleasant games. Naturally, I don't like that this makes it impossible to protect the others more often than not. And that at times, it may mean we are directly competing against one another to live.

Calm down, Suuchan. Is being lonely that bad?

[There was a silence now. Games and fighting to live didn't seem very idol like. His brows furrow for a moment.]

While I do not like to be the one to give you such troubling news, I am afraid that is exactly the case. It is their form of entertainment. Watching all of us struggle to survive and forcing our hands seems to be their favorite pastime.

[ He glances away unhappily. It's not the sort of thing anyone would like to hear. And he knows that. ]

Death isn't permanent. They eventually revive us. And sensitIV has the ability to heal injuries we receive. But obviously it... it isn't an ideal situation overall.

So I apologize. I realize that this is a lot to hear, and I am sorry that you have been dragged into this mess as well. It seems like... the producers have a fondness for our world, and even just our unit, if four out of the five of us are here.

I see...Then it would be good to have sort of plan of attack, right? Or is everything a surprise with no time to plan?

While I know it might sound difficult to believe, I've experienced it myself to understand the possibility of it. It isn't... pleasant by any means. But they enjoy watching us squirm.

So I suppose anything is possible when demons have managed to somehow get their hands upon a number of innocent people.

[ He really can't believe that anyone here actually deserves it. As frustrated as he might feel from time to time with the occasional other, he'd never wish Imeeji on anyone. ]

Though, to some extent, it is possible to plan. We can't know what particular game we will be faced with next. They all differ, so it is impossible to predict what we will be struck with at any given time. But I think... it is good to discuss with one's unit, if they are amendable to it, strategies for best protecting yourselves, and what you value most. Whether that is protecting yourselves, your ideals, or that of another person or unit.

That is better than nothing, I think. Though it doesn't always happen so neatly.

All of this is pretty scary, Suuchan. Killing people seems pretty extreme but guess if people don't die forever there is little consequences so...it would devalue life.

[Really what stopped people from killing was the law and the fact it was a permanent thing. Once you're dead...that's it. Here without that there was little to stop someone from killing. That was a little more scary to get.]

They really want to put you against others, that's pretty twisted. Right now the only thing I know is, you know me and so does that Emperor guy. Plus...this King and Izumi? Would they remember me too?

Without a shred of doubt, I promise the others will recognize you, though. Unlike myself... and you now, it seems, they did not arrive in this place without their memories. Because they are auditions. So far, I only have a handful of memories beneath my belt, but I do in fact possess one with you in it.

However, if you need proof, I can give it to you. King named one of his cats after you. He possesses five and named each one after one of us, except the one meant to represent him?

Though do not expect him to refer to you appropriately. He will probably call you 'Newbie, or some such other ridiculous title.

So, Ou-sama has cats named after us and Secchan...is this Izumi? For now I guess believing you isn't too hard.

Though at the mention of the producers, he simply shrugs. HE'S GONNA PICK A FIGHT WITH THEM. ]

Anyhow, I despise the producers. [ He glares at one of the many cameras. ] I would rather they know that I, Suou Tsukasa, will not stand for their disreputable behavior and actions. At the very least, I was given a very good word of advice... And that is, despite the situations they force upon us, I will never make a decision I regret.

[ And that is something he's tried to keep in mind since he was told so. ]

You see, our hands are often tied, and there is rarely a good answer. But even if I fail, or am hurt as a result, or others are, I will not regret the decisions I made because I am only working within the framework I have been given. And I will not forget that they are the ones responsible for forcing that upon us. So I cannot blame other units for trying to survive, either.

[ Which isn't to say he isn't distraught or sad. That certainly happens. But he knows everyone is merely trying to do their best in a bad situation. And he will never fault another team for desiring to live. ]

Though I suppose I should have mentioned the others by their full names...

Izumi-san must be your 'Secchan'. His full name is Sena Izumi. However, most people know him here by 'Veles'. That is the name his unit gave to him.

[ He only uses that when talking about him to people unfamiliar with his real name.]

King's full name is Tsukinaga Leo. But he goes by a million names here so it is difficult to keep up with them all. People tend to refer to him as 'Shishiou' or 'Hoshi' in general. However, he unreasonably demands that I call him 'King' and was upset when I once called him 'Ou-sama'. So I'm not sure why he demanded I refer to him differently.

Making fun? I don't see it like that. Clearly, someone cares about you if they make a nickname. Those take effort and they could just call you nothing, right?

[This kid was good. Ready to fight was a fun trait. Those red eyes dart to the same camera as he smirks. He likes this guy.]

Good, regrets are messy, right? Just pick an option and commit.

[A shrug before he leans back a little.]

Survival is survival, protect what you love, right? Fufufu~ You just have to remember everyone else is fighting to live too. What an interesting place.

He is perfectly fine being called 'Ou-sama' by Izumi-san. So I'm not really sure why he refuses to hear it from me.
