Ideal World Scheduling
Hey, folks. The Teller of Tales will be running an ideal world game on the days of December 26th thru January 1st.
On the surface, ideal worlds are similar to heart games, in that the worlds are written and run by you! However, rather than a representation of the character's soul, the play space should be that character's ideal, perfect existence – a world filled with whatever items, people, or changes to reality necessary to make them want to stay in that space forever.
The setup is that certain characters (the runners) are being held hostage in a prison made from their own dreams and ideals; other players are trapped in their worlds with them. Players succeed when they convince the hostage character that they should give up on their perfect place and return to the harsh reality of Imeeji.
Important elements of the ideal world include:
The climax of the game should be the chance for players to convince the hostage that they have to abandon their dreams so that everyone can return to Imeeji. If the character can't be persuaded/is too far in denial/is too in love with their fantasy to be convinced to leave, then things should only become more climactic from there. The Storyteller loves a dramatic story, after all. No matter the outcome, however, after the time limit (game length of 5 hours max), all characters will be returned to the game tower.
Scoring, content, and trauma levels for each run are up to the runner, as in heart games. How players succeed or fail at removing the hostage character from the ideal world should affect scores, though it should not be the only thing considered.
If you're interested in running an ideal world, please sign up below, and note the dates and times you plan to run, expected content warnings (we know this group), and the number of players you are willing to accommodate. Of course, if you have further questions, note them down below!

Players succeed when they convince the hostage character that they should give up on their perfect place and return to the harsh reality of Imeeji.
Important elements of the ideal world include:
- The world itself – it should be tailored to the hostage in every way, so that on the surface it is everything that they want. Without questioning further, they would be happy to live in the world forever – perhaps do anything for the chance to do so, because it's just that good.
- Cracks in the fiction – small inconsistencies in the world that show how unreal it is. For example, perhaps the hostage's extensive dream gardens are really just silk and twine, or the beautiful vista from the mansion they always wanted is only visible from certain angles, or NPCs are two-dimensional (figuratively or literally) and only able to repeat the same two or three statements. Feel free to be creative with this!
- The hostage – unlike a heart game, the captive character should be present and easy to encounter within their ideal world. This is a place they enjoy and should feel comfortable and happy in. They may want to convince the other players to stay, or they may want to scare them off, but in no way do they want to leave the ideal world.
- An ultimate clue – some element somewhere in the world that is so off and just plain wrong that it is capable of convincing the character that the whole place is fake.

Izanagi's Ideal World V2
No prior CR is necessary to play in this game!
The game may include suicide/suicidal ideation, gore, and body-horror, so please let me know here if there are any particular squicks that might fall under those categories that you will need me to avoid (or just link me your character's profile with an updated squick list or something!)
I can add timezone times to the spreadsheet on request, just let me know what timezone(s) need to be on there o7

Tsukasa Ideal World
I don't have any specific triggers in mind for this quite yet, but if something does arise, i'll be sure to let people know before game start. But pls anticipate IDOL SHENANIGANS. This is an exciting idol raising game...! Become your best idol...!!!
Tentative sign-ups here!
Ren's Ideal World
No prior CR is necessary If you have had prior CR with Kaguya and/or Zero but not Ren, you might still enjoy it?
Game may include gore/mild body horror but I will avoid going to crazy detail in the writing just to avoid squicking anyone out (and also because I am a weenie).
Also, just to be safe, even if I probably won't use it really as a theme I will warn for very mild incest mention, just in case Ren having a big fat crush on her sister does come up in the writing.
If there are any questions then you can always just ask!
Persephone ideal world v2
content warnings: self-sacrifice/martyrdom is the big one. also likely avoidable references to sexual coercion and abusive romantic relationships.
player limit
probably 5-7 per run, max.

Chivalry Luminosity's Ideal World
- The crushing pressure of societal expectations weighing down on your shoulders?
- A hideous social order propped up by a corrupt governing body that profits from the suffering of everyone except those at the very top?
- Romantic ideals of heroism, duty, and love being tarnished and used as a weapon against those who don't conform?
- Rocks?
- Televised horrific, life-altering injury in the name of the public good?
- The feeling of bitter hopelessness that comes with being more powerful than most yet still lacking any agency to effect change?
- The masses cheering for and betting on your public execution like they'd cheer for their favourite football team?
- Your entire existence as a living being condensed down to the amount of money that any given individual or group gains from either your life or death?
- Fish?
IF SO TOO BAD NONE OF THAT'S HAPPENING HERE BECAUSE THIS IS THE COOL PERFECT WORLD WHERE THE RADIANT KNIGHT FIXED EVERYTHING. FOR REAL THIS TIME. THERE IS NO EXISTENTIAL HORROR OR MUNDANE DYSTOPIA LURKING BEHIND THE CURTAIN DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT
INSTEAD THINK ABOUT:
- being trapped in a fun choose your own adventure book where YOU are the hero and get to choose your path in life! isn't that great???
sign up for knightsports here
(listed times are very tentative because I have no idea what I'm actually going to be doing at the end of December. in two weeks they will be more solidified and I will update everyone then thank you!)
Skylark's Ideal World
You do not need prior or strong CR for this ideal world run, though it helps if you have some knowledge of his personality and/or experiences.
This game will have depictions of violence, gore, torture and end-of-life/terminal illness. I will update this as I finalise write-ups.
Come have a good time by the sea and have fun in the sun! Don't worry about the terrible burden of destiny, your fundamental otherness, and the consequences of other people's actions suddenly becoming your responsibility!

Doodleman's Ideal World
I've got no time preferences for the moment, though times sensible for EEST on December 26 and 27 would work the best.
Comment here to note your preferred times and I'll work out actual run times once I know more!

Zhongli Ideal World
No prior CR is necessary. So please feel free to sign up even if they have never threaded.
Sign ups
Looking to run around 3-4 sessions of 4-6 people. In sign-ups, there's also an out-of-band section if no times work and you just want to pick at it slowly all week. There might be a little pre-work (stats-picking) near game time, but I will have more details of that closer to when the game starts.
Unpleasant things you may encounter:
- Violence (of the PG-13 video game type)
- Death/killing/loss of life
- Memory loss/loss of self
- Divinity v. mortality themes
- Possible body horror
- Depression/loneliness

Rye's Ideal World
Unfortunately I work ten hour shifts on fri to mon, so my times are weird.
SIGN UPS HERE
26, 27, 31, and the 1st have hard start and end times because that's my work week, as well as a hard limit on people.
However, 28 and 29 can have your session start at any time between 2PM to 8PM, 30 is 2PM to 6PM. You can start your session anytime in that timeframe and we just use the time stamp to judge the five hour limit. There is a tentative limit on people because it depends on when people start and end and when I'm also running through an ideal world because I just plan to die that week.
I can also do an unscored run where we just reply to it whenever we have time without having to power through it.
Also you get dragons. Please fill out what dragon you would like before game start, thank you.
No previous CR necessary.
Some Warnings for what may be included
-War
-Violence and death
-Isolation and loneliness
-The crushing weight of needing to lead when you grew up an outsider
-Dead family
-May try to fuss at you, which is clearly a warning for a good number of his CR
-Listen, dragon fucking isn't a canon thing, but sometimes that is a vibe and Hell is an influence, so that might come up.
