Handshake Event Summary!

Hello, Imeeji! Confused about what happened in the Handshake Event and why? Here's all the information for it! Everything in black are OOC spoilers/otherwise information that should not be played with IC, but freely available OOC for players' curiosity.
Pre-Event

  • Imeeji Idol Productions hosts their first-ever fan contest, with 11 total winners.

  • The 11th winner requested "PLEASE MAKE C KING OF HEAVEN".

  • Using this as an opportunity to try sabotaging the Production and free at least some of the people in Tokyo-F, several Hell Graduates concocted a plan:
    • Thorn read through every procedure in Imeeji Idol Productions as well as the laws of Liar, Vengeance, and Transgression Hells in order to submit investigations for every single aspect of the Production that he could find, as well as every maintenance procedure. By doing so, he increased the workload for every mid- and high-level employee of the Production by a hundredfold, creating the necessary internal chaos for the plan to move forward while camouflaging the involvement of those in the plan.

    • Leviathan helped with further distractions and cloaking by breaking a number of properties owned by the Production, thus causing need for immediate attention and repair. One of the properties Leviathan broke was a critical part of the belief absorption system.

    • Intensity fast-tracked graduations for the following characters: Gold, Silver, B, C, Sho, and Angel, which includes releasing several "security tethers" (or, the mechanisms which keep idols from escaping Tokyo-F) on the characters.

    • Cobalt helped with polling fans for their requests and suggestions; the overwhelming number of meet-and-greet requests resulted in pressure on the Production to have a meet-and-greet. Ordinarily, these requests would be immediately thrown out the window, but because mid- and high-level employees were too busy (see: Thorn), employees with less experience or less pay (and thus less care) pushed the requests through the schedule until it was impossible to ignore.

    • Cobalt and Intensity both set up "summoning circle fan events": Cobalt set up the fan event for Leviathan and Hiryuu, while Intensity set up the fan event for Sho and Angel.

  • The Production prepares for the first ever Imeeji meet-and-greet Handshake Event.

Event

  • Hell Graduates and Transfers visit Tokyo-F. Fans enter the city shortly afterwards, with Man☆Eater hosting the event's beginning.

  • Pentium eats a number of avante en garde and sensitIV fans to protect Tsukasa and Okitsu respectively. Fandaniel and Pentium kill a number of fans.
    • Results of fan death were determined by rolls: for Pentium/Tsukasa, the higher the roll, the better the fan response. For Pentium/Okitsu and Fandaniel/Pentium, the lower the roll, the better the fan response.

    • Pentium's player rolled favorably while Tsukasa's player rolled unfavorably. Thus, Pentium's fandom grew as fans found being eaten by Pentium to be very attractive and moved from one unit fandom to the other, while Tsukasa's fandom was reduced as fans were disenchanted by Tsukasa, abandoning the fandom. In the end, some fans found being rescued by Tsukasa to be appealing, so Tsukasa got some of his fandom back.

    • Pentium's player rolled favorably while Okitsu's player rolled unfavorably. Thus, Pentium's fandom grew as fans found being eaten by Pentium to be very attractive and moved from one unit fandom to the other, while Okitsu's fandom was reduced as fans were disenchanted by Okitsu, abandoning the fandom.

    • Fandaniel's player rolled extremely favorably while Pentium's player rolled unfavorably. Thus, Fandaniel immediately shot up as #1 bias, and Pentium lost a number of fans to Fandaniel.

  • AlcheME! fulfills their request of WcDonald's roleplay. During this roleplay, they are imbued with the direct power of fandom energy. . . and with that power, they manifest a real WcDonald's. C begins to show signs of becoming a god(?).

  • The meet-and-greet Handshake Event is cut short. It's implied by fan gossip that a number of things might have occurred and the Production is having problems.

Because a number of fans left sensitIV's and avante en garde's (due to the aforementioned unfavorable rolls) and BAD END=DEAD END's (due to lack of fan request fulfillment) fandoms, the units lost their strength and began to exhibit sofaform.

  • Requiem, a transfer scheduled to join the Handshake Event, set up her own "summoning circle fan event," announcing that she would soon debut as a musician under her own record label. After sneaking around the Production to break another part of the belief absorption system, Requiem slipped into Tokyo-F during the last day of the event to visit some friends.

  • Just before the Hell Graduates and Transfers left, several successfully idols escape Tokyo-F and make their debuts as fugitive idols.
