The Hunger Games will be a largely combat-based trauma game with table-top mechanics! Like our run of Betrayal at the House on the Hill, characters will have seperate areas to traverse to find each other, be it to help and protect unitmates, or harm and bring down your opponents! Different zones will offer different advantages to different units, and there will be items characters might start with or steal from each other that will offer advantages too.

The combat will be run using the same fighting mechanics that were used in The Last Supper, so take a look at those if you're not familiar. Powers are turned on, and we have a sheet over here on how they'll function mechanically!

Characters will be told that the winners will be awarded on criteria like most kills, most vicious or emotional kill, and best struggle to survive against the odds! Even if you go down, going down fighting can net you a reward. On the other hand, suicide (be it directly or just passively waiting to die the whole round) nets you a one-way trip to Lilith for revival, who won't be pleased to see them. On the plus side, if their unit wins they'll be rewarded with full heals for their unit! Killing a unitmate intentionally will disqualify you for winner.

Unlike in Betrayal, characters will not come back between rounds. The game will be held out of time and inserted into the timeline when it's finished, so as to not timelock anyone while they're dead.
