Prompt 1: Amnesia

[ You woke up, all your memories having vacated you. Well, that sucks. But hey, no time like the present to go out and figure out things. Maybe someone in your smartphone contacts knows you or what's going on. You open up your smartphone's lock screen and-- hey, that looks relevant. Profile pages! It has your unit name, member names, but no pictures. . .

Well, the rest varies. This one says Likes: Industrial Strength cleaning products, Breakbeat hardcore, Volleyball shorts and Dislikes: Roombas, Electro-industrial, Maid Outfits. The next has a thrilling tale that concludes with the idol mud-wrestling God, though it doesn't mention if they won or not. The third says that the member became an idol because they want to use the television and media attention to get the notice of their long lost sister, and reunite their family. The fourth just has someone's three sizes. The fifth has a detailed astrological profile.

Since no one remembers their names and there's no pictures to match it to, this is actually less helpful than you hoped. And furthermore, the doors aren't opening until you and the rest of the amnesiacs on this unit tell it who is who. Looks like you and the rest of these people have to discuss which of you is more likely to have mud-wrestled god, and who joined because they really want to find their long-lost sister. Or you can just use the tape-measure that was left sitting on the main table of the center room, that might be a quick way to settle at least one of these things. ]

Prompt 2: Memory Regain

[ You saved up your points, performing in Games or Lives or Vids, something or other until you had enough points to put the order in.

You didn't really know how to expect a memory to look like, but as it turns out there's just an alert on your app. Once you click it, a playback starts-- on the screen, and in your mind. You remember something now.

However, in buying the cheap version, that just broadcasted to several other people's phones in the area as well as all screens in the area. Cool. That was definitely what you were trying to do. ]

Prompt 3: Game Time

[ Welcome to the Game Tower. Today's game is a sort of mad fake phantom thief free-for-all. You arrived, were given top hats and cloaks, and the inside floor of the tower had been remodeled to resemble an art museum, with a giant roulette wheel right by the elevator you exited. Below that was a little slot, where today's hologram host explained the wheel would spit out a slip with a goal just for you.

So you have a little slip of paper with a goal on it, and no way of knowing what anyone else's goals are, though you did see the big roulette wheel being spun at the beginning letting you know the some of the possibilities:

Prompts 4: Fanmail

[ Today, trying to take the elevators up from the lobby to access the apartments you and the other units live in just isn't working. Upon the doors being pried open, you found out why quickly: the elevator shaft was jammed up with fan mail, so it couldn't properly descend. Letters cascades out from between the open doors: letters from people who watch you play games, do lives, make vids, and probably all sorts of other things on those omnipresent cameras.

Are you really going to read these? Though right at your feet, a few have spilled from their envelopes. Now you can't help but read those. Here's one in purple glitter pen that says, jesus just come into my home and strangle me with your hair and one that is written with newspaper cut out letters (alarmingly reminiscent of a calling card written by a serial killer) that reads incongruently hello my soft best child ur good and valid and I love you forever plz be ok don't listen 2 the haterz u have done nothing wrong. Oh, and here's one asking if you can wear tighter pants for your next live, they want a better shot of your ass for their shrine. This one just says MARRIED?

Well, it's just as well you have no idea who those were for. Most this fanmail isn't for you. Except for the few that you just read, they're all labeled in envelopes for different people from all the units. Time to read other people's fanmail. Or try and find them and deliver the fanmail. Or just start a big fire in the middle of the lobby, you could do that too. ]

[ There is a pretty young woman, maybe eighteen years old, with long black hair sitting in YOUR unit's lobby. More precisely, she's sitting in a chair, one long leg elegantly crossed over the other and scrolling through the profiles on the phone. Her pajamas are in unit colours and they are.... a choice, but not one she'd made herself-- though you wouldn't know that from how utterly unconcerned she seems to be. When she hears someone moving around, she looks up. ]

So. Are you the one that brought me here?

Prompt 2: Memory Regain

[ What she got back was this-- a version of herself, maybe three or four years younger than she ist at present, wandering around a rather large estate in a school uniform. She's pale, sickly-looking, but she keeps walking determinedly forward until she gets to a nice-looking house. With an agonized sigh, she opens the door and steps through-- and the door is barely closed before she collapses, turning into a horse on the way down.

In the present, she stares at her phone in bafflement. ]

Prompt 3: Gametime

[ This young woman is pretty sure she's no phantom thief, but that seems to be what the game is calling for. So she sighs and ties her hair up with a unit-coloured ribbon before she addresses the prompt on her slip of paper. "Steal a kiss." Her lips twist into a grimace momentarily, but she lets it smooth out into something neutral before she walks over and taps someone on the shoulder. ]

1. Amnesia

[ Why is there a sudden sense of deja vu for him? Why does he feel as if he's done this song and dance before? Who knows? It's not like he does. All he knows is that he doesn't know anything. Which doesn't help much, but hey maybe this phone will help? He looks through it, scrolling through the text before he glares at the screen of his phone then hits it against his thigh. Instead of an actual name for his profile there's only this: "Great Leader". ]

Saaa, this is a rather bad joke.

[ Is the only thing he can say about it before he tries to take his phone apart. Which probably isn't a good idea but since when does that matter when you're named Great Leader? ]

2. Memory Regain

[ Watch as this plays for all to see and hear. It's dumb, right? It's super super dumb, RIGHT?! What he can't really get over is that transformation. What is he? Some kind of super hero or villain? And why are there two of him? THIS MAKES NO SENSE. ]

Someone is playing a very bad joke on me . . .

[ You may or may not like this but this one is currently taking polaroid pictures of everyone, including you. What makes no sense is that every picture he takes comes out warped, with faces being inverted and colors skewing across everywhere.

Does this stop him though? No. He keeps taking pictures and when he snaps yours, he gives you the finished product before moving onto someone else.

There's a literal paper trail of left over letters and forgotten doujinshi leading from the lobby all the way out to Shinjuku Goen... where you will find a young woman, armed with a hoe and big rubber boots, dumping the remaining paper items into a gigantic compost heap. And like any compost heap, that thing is smelly--but she's just happily humming to herself as she works on it!

But it's definitely not the kind of behavior you'd expect from a prim and proper Taisho. She's wearing ill-fitting farmer's clothing (from Wild City maybe?) and her hair's even tied back in a handkerchief... ]

[What an odd state he woke up in. He has no memory, no clue to his identity, empty and vunerable in a strange world. He would be more concerned for himself if he really had a self to be concerned about at the moment... Really, the only thing he can do now is to move on and obtain a new self.

Thus, he has taken to reviewing the profiles on the smartphone he's been provided.]

Odd... They could have at least provided simple physical descriptors...

[Other than the three sizes and the like. He's wondering if he can obtain a tape mesure from somewhere...]

1B: I feel pretty!
[Against all odds, he managed to find his own profile. It... Doesn't provide much of an identity, but it's a decent base. He takes the clothes from the closet and slips into the bathroom to change.

... That was the plan, but when he removed the surgical mask he woke up in he was met with a particular sight in the mirror.]

What...? [Hm. He washes his face off, but...]

... No, this won't do at all. Where is the makeup?

[He proceeds to experiment, tampering with various styles and methods of application until he finally feels right.

This will take an hour or so. Nobody else needs to get in the bathroom, right?]

4. Love Letter
[Most people would simply discard their weird fanmail, but this fellow is different.

Instead, he goes through the mail and collects whatever is adressed to him. Of course, he leaves the hate mail to be disposed of, but he keeps all the cute trinkets of himself, all the kinky doujins, all the perverted fanart and invasive letters...

Anything that praises and comforts and signals adoration is taken to his bed. All the letters and artwork is pinned to the wall nearby, all the plushies are piled neatly on his bed, and the rest of it sits on his side table. His own little corner to remind him he is loved.

... It's starting to resemble a reverse yandere shrine. He doesn't seem to care.]

Prompt 1 - future is now

[The guns purchased from the shop may be expensive and not terribly reliable, but there's a boy in the park who appears to be using the future is now powerset to improve upon that. How many points did he spend, assembling this? Ten or so muskets and matchlocks lie on the ground, along with a lot of miscellaneous refuse.

First he takes a toy canon, a musket, a belt, a firework, and a laser pointer and fuses them— ending up a waist mounted canon that when he attempts to fire the trigger, instead shoots off a laser beam that explodes in dazzling but harmless firework displays at the end. He clicks his tongue, and tries again.

Next he takes a jack in the box, a quickdraw shealth for a knife, and a matchlock. What comes out is... well, it looks like a jack in the box. Not to be deterred, he starts winding it.

Maybe like, stop him. Or see if it works. Or duck for cover, because someone is probably about to get shot by the deranged clown toy armed with both a knife and a gun that he just made. ]

Prompt 2 - Any Unit

[ The library is a great place to study, for all that there's no real school or outside force motivating anyone to do so in Imeeji. Maybe that's why the white haired boy seems a bit put off by there being someone else here while he's trying to read? Or maybe he isn't put off and there's some other reason he's been slowly, steadily, stacking books on the end of the aisle closest to where he's studying to construct a wall between him and everyone else. This ordinarily would be merely passive aggressive, but when one is studying in one of the floating dome cubicles and he's piled the entire hallway with books that must be climbed over very carefully to get back to the main portion of the library, it's probably a bigger problem. ]
