HOSTAGE SIGNUPS
We have a hostage game coming up! This means that one character on each unit will take all the damage during the game, and it's up to the rest of the unit to protect and save them~!
In the case of this hostage game in particular, the hostage will also be able to discuss and participate in the game like any other member of their unit, so we ask that anyone who signs up as hostage be available to play in the game from 5:30PM until 7PM PST on July 20th. While this is a trauma game and a hostage game, none of the damage this time will be physically violent! Instead of mauling, players who sign up for a hostage role should be looking forward to playing with some unpleasant status effects.
Some effects of the game may be permanent. They will not fade over time, and there will be no cure made available. A character who receives one of these effects will need to deal with being physically or mentally altered in some way for the duration of their run in Imeeji. However, the consequence itself is variable! We will discuss the different possible alterations with the player of any character hit by a permanent consequence, and the player will have an OOC choice of what effect is inflicted on their character in order to ensure that anyone who is hit with a permanent effect gets something which they should have fun playing with long-term.
Units should communicate with one another OOCly on which character should be hostage! If more than one person signs up on a unit, we'll just randomize who gets the role when the time comes. A unit with no hostage signup cannot participate.

i.e. red eyes means shit to most people but if Kano's eye color permanently changed to red eventually he'll realize what it means in his canon when he takes more memories and have a freak out

there are some general guidelines but they're SUPER flexible. we may need to get creative for red eyes for Kano but it's def doable!
