GAME ANNOUNCEMENT & SESSION TIME POLL

We will be hosting a game of Betrayal at the House on the Hill soon!

For those of you unfamiliar, Betrayal is a game in which intrepid explorers go through a haunted house, encounter ominous events and omens which eventually trigger a betrayal, and one of the group turns on the others as part of a villainous scheme.

We've altered the board game some to work better for the DWRP format, as well as altering the flavor slightly for Imeeji though it will still be a creepy mansion. Characters going in will know their traitor goals from the start, though they'll be unable to speak about them to others. That said, should their sanity, knowledge, might, or speed falter and be reduced all the way to zero, they will lose a battle of wills to the house and become a traitor in the midst, out to fulfill the murder goal they've been tasked with!

Please be aware that if you sign up, you are agreeing to it being okay if your character is killed or mauled in game. You are also agreeing to the possibility of playing your character turning traitor. Because this is our first time doing a game with tabletop mechanics involved, we expect this to be a little bumpy so please also be prepared to be patient with the runners.

The game will be played out of IC time and inserted into the timeline once the week is over, so you don't have to worry about it time-locking you.

We will be running Betrayal in separate sessions over the week-- each session has a max of 10 players, and we ask that people not sign-up for more than two sessions. Each session will last for three hours.

Okay, now that you've read all that, we need to figure out which sessions seem like they'll work best! We're planning on doing twelve sessions total, and please say which of the following you can manage! Each day is noted with the maximum number of sessions that a runner will run; for signup notes that have multiple days grouped together, please note which days are best for you.

Is there a benefit to signing up for two sessions? I mean aside from playing more and the potential for more fun, will experiences from one session stack into the next or will a person's best play through be made "canon," or what happens if your character dies in the first session? That kind of thing.

Will the characters go in thinking they are playing a game? Or will they just land in some creepy mansion and have to go from there?

Also, to double check, they know what will happen if they lose enough points to turn traitor (thus potentially informing their decisions) or we just OOCly know what will happen?
