Pokemon 2 Infoz + Sign Ups
Okay folks. No doubt you've been hoping for some more information about the next Pokemon Game. So HERE WE GO:
POKEMON 2: ELECTRIC DAYCARE BOOGALOO!
GOAL:
Your characters will be working together to help the burgeoning daycare center in town to establish itself! They will do so by completing a series of simple tasks, completing a personal survey to better understand trainers, and helping the daycare to hatch their first nest(s) of eggs. If your unit (or group you're playing with) gets to the end and completes all of your tasks, all of the eggs will hatch and your character will receive a second, baby pokemon partner. It also fulfills the single win condition.
What kind of Pokemon will you hatch? Who knows! Your character's answers will impact the results, but in what way, that's my fushigi mystery~ However, both Galerian variations/additions and Legendaries are possibilities, so good luck!
STRUCTURE:
The optional, extended mingle within the Pokemon world & Imeeji (yes, you and your Pokemon can leave the Game Tower at will) runs from Friday November 27th-Tuesday December 1st. It exists purely so that people who don't want to play the scored game can still choose to interact with their Pokemon if they so desire and to give people something to do when they're not actively running.
The scored portion of the game is round-based, lasting a max of 4 hours, 1 hr per round. If your group is speedy I will get you through faster. Characters' performance in these rounds will also earn them tickets that, at the end of the game, can be redeemed for items to raise (both) of your Pokemon from babies if you wish. You will know the results of your hatching efforts at the end of your session so that you can play with your second 'mon as well.
Those individuals who played last time will be reuniting with their old Pokémon partners during this time too! They will be returning exactly as your characters left them in good mental and physical health and will be available to assist you during the scored game as well as general fun shenanigans before/after in the mingle. For those of you with characters who did not participate in the first Pokémon game, please refer to this page for specifics for a Pokemon you can OOCly select to join your character in the mingle and scored portion(s).
PROJECTED SESSION DATES & TIMES:
For the most part, I anticipate running people by unit in unit-locked rooms. The mingle portion will officially open Friday November 27th. I will be running scored sessions on the following days and times for regular single-unit sessions, with 4 units max run each session:
For tea-timers,, moon-timers, all of you grave shift workers and/or anyone else who cannot make any of those times, (or if you would simply prefer to play with people who can't make the traditional slots) I will also be offering special sessions featuring a single group of multi-unit participants with a max 10 characters each. These will occur at the following days/times:
SIGN UP INFO
Based on the days & times listed above, please discuss with the other players in your unit(s) which days are best for the most players interested in participating and then submit to me a SINGLE comment with your group's ranked choices for day & time between Saturday, Sunday, and Monday by November 25th. Additionally, if I can get some kind of headcount by that date, it would be appreciated; if there are only one or two participants for some groups I might do partner teams to consolidate.
For those of you who know or suspect that you will not be able to make any of these days, please respond to the comments for the Saturday/Sunday late night runs with your individual sign ups by November 25th. I don't want to stay up for a late night run if there are less than three characters involved, so if there are not enough character sign ups then it might get cancelled.
If you have any questions regarding any of the details mentioned above, please feel free to hit me up in comments to this entry. Also, please don't forget to do sign ups!
